Began flying drones during the 30 years of working in the Insurance industry doing claims adjusting, field underwriting building inspections and Loss control inspection.  He didn’t feel safe getting on steep pitched roofs and tall buildings. Flying drones gave him safety and security and faster turnaround time plus an efficient way of doing inspections. His goal is to give back.

Keith Kauten is a seasoned insurance professional renowned for his ethical approach and extensive industry knowledge. With a solid background in insurance adjustments and risk management, Keith excels in managing and settling property claims, conducting aerial inspections using UAS107 drones, and providing critical support as a FEMA reservist specializing in flood insurance. His career spans roles at prestigious firms like American Mutual Insurance Association and Custard Insurance Adjuster, where he has demonstrated expertise in handling various claims, from property and liability to catastrophe situations. Keith holds a Bachelor of Science in Insurance & Finance from Drake University and an Associate of Applied Science in Auto Body Repair from Hawkeye Technical College. His certifications include a SUAS Remote Drone Pilot license, Texas Adjuster All Lines license, and NFIP Flood Adjuster license, reflecting his comprehensive skill set and commitment to excellence in the field.

Our Mission

Our goals are to provide flight missions, scheduling locating and creating flying missions that can be documented in their flight logbook and used for job interview reference material and proof of professionalism.

Other missions of ours would be provide scheduled flying times for pilots.  They would fly under one of GoFly’107 pilots in control who is a licensed 107 pilot in command and there would be a visual observer available to assist with flight awareness and any flight assistance necessary
